Further reports state that the overall pass percentage recorded in the Bihar 12th compartment exams upon the declaration of the result of the same today, has come out to be at 71.36%. Students can visit the Bihar Board website to check the results. As per the scheduled timetable drawn out, the Bihar Board has conducted the 12 class examinations from 1 March to 8 March 2017.
Compartmental exams were held for students who did not pass the Class 12 intermediate exam. BSEB president Anand Kishore and board secretary Anup Sinha declared these results on Saturday. The art topper students were 42 years old, Ganesh Kumar, who soon got his results canceled by the board authority.

Apart from the aforesaid Secondary School Examination, the Board also conducts departmental examinations (not on yearly basis) such as Diploma in Physical Education, Certificate in Physical Education and Teachers Training Examination on such terms and condition as laid down by the State Government. "In the results of these candidates, the word compartmental will not be mentioned".
Out of 93,295 candidates who passed the examination, 6,517 passed with first division, 73,977 with second and 12, 801 with third division. Other details of the result can be checked at biharboard.ac.in.
Bihar Board Intermediate exam result was released on 30 May 2017. The results for both years and all branches were now accessible to download.
