In a tweet on Friday, Ubisoft announced the next Operation coming to Rainbow Six Siege, called Blood Orchid, which will take place in a theme park.
This is the second update in the game's Year 2 of content, and comes after a three-month hiatus that saw a shift in development focus. This will be the game's first major content drop since Operation Health and update 2.2.2 fixed numerous issues with the game's servers, matchmaking and vaulting animations.
All three operators will be accessible to Season Pass holders for free starting August 29th, and September 5th for everyone else. While we haven't gotten the complete details on each of the operators, we do know that two of them are from Honk Kong and the other is from Poland. The update will also introduce several new customization items. There has been no official confirmation from Ubisoft but a similar location was seen briefly, and probably unintentionally, on the Rainbow Six Siege online tactical board.
Along with a new map that's set in Hong Kong (that's immediately free to all players), Operation Blood Orchid will have three new operators. That said, more will be revealed the Pro League finals on August 26, including a live demo of the map.
