The film is still a unique set up as it has two directors, something not very common in the ever changing world of Hollywood and could be something fans notice.
Following the family tragedy of director Zack Snyder, Joss Whedon was chosen to finish the upcoming Justice League film. Now, with Joss Whedon taking the reins and WB's superhero film slate in flux, that no longer appears to be the case.
Since the DC Extended Universe and Warner Bros. announced their plans for Justice League, it was always guaranteed to be a massive endeavor.
"Zack has been a family drama, is removed, which is disgusting".
Here's hoping Whedon can make Justice League work. The executive producers are Jim Rowe, Wesley Coller, Curt Kanemoto, Chris Terrio and Ben Affleck. So that what I think ends up happening is that section of the movie and certainly that character, Cyborg, is a metaphor for being The Other. "I have to say that I have much enjoyed working with Zack, just as I loved what I did with Joss". As the DCEU attempts to move away from the grim and gritty aesthetic of Snyder's Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice, and closer to the earnest, optimistic worldview of Patty Jenkins' Wonder Woman, bringing in Whedon to lighten Justice League's tone made a tremendous amount of sense.
Chances are we'll never fully know the reasoning behind the reshoots, but according to a report from Batman-on-Film, the answer is quite simple - "an early cut of the film was deemed "unwatchable", with the studio then demanding substantial changes to the film.
Based on what Ben Affleck had to say about the finished product for Justice League, it seems that the future is looking bright for the DCEU.
"This is a really nice time to work in DC", he continues. They're hitting their stride.
Fueled by the hero's restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman's selfless act, Justice League sees Bruce Wayne enlist the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. "It's starting to feel like it's really working". For now, we'll have to wait and see if Affleck's promise that Justice League is "interesting" comes to fruition.
Incredible but true, the Justice League will be released finally on our screens in a few months, on November 15, precisely.
