"[Ivanka Trump] will lead the US delegation to India this fall, supporting women's entrepreneurship globally", Trump said on Twitter.
"Look forward to Ms Ivanka Trump's presence at GES 2017 Hyderabad as the leader of the United States delegation", he said in another tweet.
In the next tweet, PM Modi said that he was looking forward to Ivanka Trump's presence at the summit as the leader of the USA delegation.
President Trump announced this at the White House Rose Garden in the joint press statement, Trump had said, "And I believe she has accepted". Even hours later, Ivanka took to Twitter and thanked Indian Prime Minister for the invite.
Responding on Twitter, Ivanaka said, "Honored to lead the USA delegation to #GES2017 in India & meet with Prime Minister Modi & passionate entrepreneurs from around the globe!".
New Delhi, Washington and Hyderabad have been working on Ivanka's visit from the past one-and-half months. The unique event will give a boost to start ups and entrepreneurs by bringing them together with the world leaders.
The event is being organised by the NITI Aayog in coordination with Ministry of External Affairs.
