Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen Launching for PS4 and XB1 in October

Along with the core game, Dark Arisen will also feature the expansion content, including the introduction of the new Bitterblack Isle area.

Boss fights are something that Dragon's Dogma excels in.

Dark Arisen was a pretty big hit when it released on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 years ago, but for those who may have missed out on its epic action, good news - it's coming to new platforms as well! This character could then be hired by other players, gaining experience and equipment as they travel with others. By utilizing the Xbox Live online entertainment network or PlayStation Network, players will journey to the Rift where they can share their own Pawns with friends and be rewarded with treasure, knowledge of the world and strategies for taking down enemies.

The game will launch on current generation consoles in North America and Europe on October 3rd. In addition, Dragon's Dogma will ship with thousands of ready-made Pawns for players to pick their allies offline. Just a heads up though, if you're brand new to Dragon's Dogma, this trailer contains some spoiler-y type things; the original game just celebrated its 5th anniversary, after all. Since launching worldwide, Dragon's Dogma has sold over 3.2 million copies.

Today Capcom revealed the western release date of Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen for PS4 and Xbox One. A physical edition of this remastered game has already been confirmed.
