Simpson's former agent Mike Gilbert has been in possession of the vehicle the entire time, and is looking for $500,000 from the Pawn Stars team.
Simpson's former agent, Mike Gilbert, got in touch with Rick Harrison in the hopes of unloading the vehicle he got from Al Cowlings following the 1994 slow speed chase on the 405 freeway.
"It's in fantastic shape", Harrison said to The New York Post about the auto after test driving it with fellow "Pawn Stars" star Chumlee. In the August 14 episode, he will showcase the SUV to World Famous Gold & Silver Pawn Shop co-owner Rick Harrison.
"It's in wonderful shape", Harrison told the New York Post, via USA TODAY. "I drove it around and it felt a little odd, but it runs great", Harrison told the New York Post. It was five days after Simpson's ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and Rob Goldman had been found murdered. "I never glorify gangsters or murderers on the show ... and I think O.J.is a douchebag ... who did some really bad things".
Simpson was granted parole in June after serving nine years in prison for participating in an armed robbery.
TMZ reported last month that someone offered Gilbert $250,000 for the Bronco, but he declined.
