Samsung is planning to unveil its latest smartphone offering, the Note 8, on August 23rd, with a rumoured release date of September 15th. The front camera will hold an 8MP sensor and like the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will also come with the water and dust resistant certifications. This means, the stylus offers 4,096 levels of pressure sensitivity and can also be used with the Note 8 when submerged under water.
However, this could be our first look at how the phone will appear in real-life, with the images appearing to show the rumoured Midnight Black version of the handset.
We already know the complete specification of the forthcoming flagship phablet from the one of the leading smartphone OEM around the Globe - Samsung. In fact, the leaked image shows that the company will be making it available in a variety of different colors, 8 to be specific.
Samsung however is ready to keep the scanner on the back of the phone through the Galaxy S9 when it's released next year, and is aiming to introduce the under-display feature in the eventual Galaxy Note 9. The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 was recently leaked in official brand poster. It is also being reported that, if at all, the on-display or under-display fingerprint scanner may make its debut in the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 to be launched next year. The dedicated BixbyAI button is also visible in the images. So 64GB of storage is certainly going to go a long way for them.
In the photography department, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will be equipped with company's first 12MP + 12MP dual camera setup on the back. One of these sensors is expected to be a wide-angle one with an f/1.7 aperture, whereas the other is expected to be a telephoto lens with f/2.4 aperture and 2x optical zoom capabilities. Such smartphones do not have fingerprint sensors at the front. The smartphone is expected to be priced at €1000 in Europe.
