Suns' Brandon Knight suffers torn ACL, likely to miss entire National Basketball Association season

Could the Phoenix Suns be looking to move Brandon Knight in a trade during the NBA Draft

Suns guard Brandon Knight likely to miss 2017-18 season

Knight entered the league as the eighth overall pick in the 2011 draft.

If the Suns were to move Bledsoe, Knight's presence on the roster would have been almost guaranteed for next season.

Phoenix Suns guard Brandon Knight has torn the ACL in his left knee and is expected to miss the entire 2017-18 season, the team announced Tuesday afternoon. At the very least, Knight likely wouldn't return until after the All-Star break. In 2016-17, while playing for the Suns, Knight averaged a career-low 11.0 points and 2.4 assists in 54 games, including five as a starter. It started with point guard Eric Bledsoe being bandied about in trade discussions with other teams. It looked like there was a path for Knight to bounce back this season, but the injury derailed any chances to do that. As a rookie, Ulis played 18.4 minutes per night, starting 15 of the 61 games in which he played, averaging 7.3 points and 3.7 assists per game. However, it's a possibility that Knight's injury has bigger ramifications.
