The handset is speculated to be the first smartphone launched under Xiaomi's new sub-brand called "lanmi". So we assume that the poster is only speaking of the specs of the standard or basic version of the Xiaomi 5X. Some people say the new device could be the Redmi 5, other people say it might be the successor of Redmi Note 4, Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A, as the multiple rumours have also been leaked about the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A. Redmi 5 has been subjected to multiple leaks ahead of its official debut which does reveal a gist of all the specifications and features about the upcoming Xiaomi device.
In terms of photography, the Redmi 5 is expected to feature an improved 16-megapixel rear camera setup with phase detection autofocus (PDAF) and dual-tone LED Flash.
Moving on, the smartphone is reported to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor along with 4GB of RAM.
We do know that Xiaomi is preparing to launch the new sub- brand before the end of the month.
The poster reveals nothing about the handset's native display resolution or if it would support a full HD display. Though the leaked poster seems to be some kind of promotional material, we still suggest you take this report with a pinch of salt. There is also a possibility that the device may draw its power from 2.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 octa-core processor.
