R. Kelly Accused of Holding Daughters in ‘Cult’ by Parents

Parents accuse R. Kelly of holding their daughters in abusive cult

But the difference in this particular case is that three former members of Kelly's inner circle - identified as Cheryl Mack, Kitti Jones, and Asante McGee - have provided details that corroborate the parents' belief that their daughter is being manipulated. "He controls every aspect of their lives: dictating what they eat, how they dress, when they bathe, when they sleep, and how they engage in sexual encounters that he records". When the Georgia woman laughed at one of the male driver's jokes, another woman in the vehicle texted Kelly about the "violation".

"It was as if she was brainwashed", said the woman's mother, who has shared her investigation of the singer with the FBI and police in two states.

None of the many attempts to reach R. Kelly by BuzzFeed were successful. The woman, a 19-year-old singer from Atlanta, went to meet with Kelly at a concert because she and her parents felt that it would help her career.

It's been two years since the parents of the woman met R. Kelly, and they've only seen her a few times since she initially left them.

The Buzzfeed report points out that potentially supporting evidence showing Kelly's alleged patterns of sexualizing minors was excluded from testimony.

R Kelly has been accused of luring teenage girls into a sex-obsessed, abusive cult against their will, it has been claimed.

She was asked about claims Kelly mentally abuses women and that he allegedly met one of the women in his inner circle when she was 17. But they can't report her as missing as she's reportedly doing fine and staying their because she wants to. They said that he recorded the encounters and that he was jealous of anyone looking at the women, making them wear tracksuits to hide their figures and turn around when other men entered the room. I hope that if I get her back, I can get her treatment for victims of cults.

No official word has come out from Kelly or his representatives on these new "sex cult" allegations. "[She] looked like a prisoner - it was awful", recounts a mother identified as "J." describing the last time she saw her daughter, who R. Kelly met in 2015 when she was 19 and promised to mentor. Kelly allegedly confiscates the women's phones and replaces them with new ones on which they are only allowed to contact him. I hugged her and hugged her.

"We needed to make sure it was about music, because he was going to mentor her", she said. You have to ask to go to the bathroom... "But Robert is the devil", McGee said, suggesting that the singer has two personalities.

It isn't surprising that R. Kelly, who has a long, long history of being accused of having sex with underage women (including his marriage to Aaliyah when she was just 15) is still allegedly abusing women even after being acquitted of child porn charges in 2008.

All of the women living with Kelly are above the age of consent, and Buzzfeed reports that severals police welfare checks were completed without any charges being filed. Another is said to be an 18-year-old singer who is described as R Kelly's "favourite, number one girl". He was last tried in 2008 in IL, where he was acquitted on 14 charges of making child pornography. The BuzzFeed story says "a dozen or more civil lawsuits" against Kelly were settled out of court with cash payments from Kelly. Like all of us, Mr. Kelly deserves a personal life.
