Fighting Game BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle Announced At Evo 2017

Arc System Works Introduces New BlazBlue Game With Special Guest Characters

BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle was revealed with a trailer following the final of Evo 2017's BlazBlue Central Fiction tournament.

The BlazBlue series has been a big hit with fighting fans over the last few years, and some have been asking when we would see a new entry in the series. The current BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle roster includes Ragna the Bloodedge and Jin Kisaragi from BlazBlue, Hyde from Under Night In-Birth, Yu Narukami from Persona 4, and even Ruby Rose from the RWBY animated series. RWBY is an American anime produced by Rooster Teeth. Arc System Works was part of a pair of Persona fighting games for the PlayStation 3 and was the publisher for Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late in Japan.

BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle will be available "on console" in 2018.

Central Fiction is now available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PC. The studio also released a new trailer for the game's next playable character, the Six-Heroes' mightiest swordsman, Jubei. Though the addition seems completely out of left field, the show's fans have been calling for her to be in a fighting game a for a while.
