Earlier this month Activision and developer Sledgehammer Games had announced that they will officially unveil the Call of Duty: WWII's gristly new Zombies mode at this year's San Diego Comic-Con. "We're nearly done with the Nazi Zombies Trailer". Sledgehammer Games co-founders Michael Condrey and Glenn Schofield both urged fans to avoid the leaks. We're nearly done with the Nazi Zombies Trailer. Meanwhile, Sledgahammer Games' official Twitter addressed the leak too, saying that while it wasn't ideal, they were nearly done with the final, official trailer, and that it'll be "worth the wait". "Hang tight, it'll be worth it!" Please respect the craft & avoid spoilers today, final trailer coming soon.
The leak certainly spoils the months-long buildup to the official reveal. "Bummed, disappointed." On the other hand, the official statement from Sledgehammer Games says to hang tight, they're nearly done with the final touches on the reveal and the wait will be worth it.
"They're nasty. They're vicious". The official zombies reveal is expected to be shown during Comic-Con, which begins on July 20th.
The development team has suggested that this year's Zombies mode will be scarier than previous entries.
The zombie segment of the game looks to be called "Army of the Dead".
