Kushner heading to Mideast for peace talks

According to the paper, more than 1,700 cameras have been installed on roads, intersections and in illegal settlements across the West Bank.

Jared Kushner [VIDEO] is reportedly scheduled to visit Israel and Ramallah to meet their respective leaders to talk about achieving a long-lasting peace deal between the two Middle Eastern countries.

The settlement, called Amichai, will house the some 300 Jewish residents evicted from the Amona outpost after the Israeli Supreme Court ruled that the settlement was built illegally on privately owned Palestinian land.

The visits by Greenblatt and Kushner are the first major peace push by the White House since Trump visited the region last month. Trump said at the time: "President Abbas assures me he is ready to work toward [peace] in good faith, and Prime Minister Netanyahu has promised the same".

Lamborn said the embassy should not be "linked" to the peace negotiations between the Palestinian Authority and Israel.

On the campaign trail, Mr Trump indicated he would be far more sympathetic to settlements than Mr Obama.

The move comes ahead of a scheduled visit by a US delegation to discuss prospects for reviving the stagnant peace process, which, according to Palestinian presidential spokesman Nabil Abu Rudeineh, "indicates that Israel is not interested in USA efforts and is serious about thwarting these efforts as it did with previous US administrations".

In an interview with the Jewish Telegraphic Agency past year, he said he had not had any contacts with Palestinians since his time at the yeshiva, when he came into contact with laborers. In that period, some 250 Palestinians were killed by Israeli fire.

Kushner's family foundation, the Charles and Seryl Kushner Foundation, has donated tens of thousands of dollars to organizations and institutions in West Bank settlements. "He was always tall", Netanyahu said, alluding to Kushner's height, even as a young child.

The new settlement, the first since 1992, according to Israeli NGO Peace Now, is meant to house residents of the illegal West Bank outpost of Amona after the Israeli military demolished it in February.

Haaretz said, according to the PNN, that the army believes more cameras deter terror attacks and can aid in gathering intelligence that can help to capture perpetrators. About 15 percent of settlers are American Jews. The Palestinians will be persuaded to cease their incitement against the Jewish State and stop payouts to the families of convicted Palestinian terrorists and other security offenders. "With determination, compromise, and the belief that peace is possible, Israelis and Palestinians can make a deal".

"Excited to be traveling back to Israel and the Pal".
