We have seen enough leaks of the phone and its features and specifications from different tech blogs and benchmarking sites till date. OnePlus 5 is expected to be slimmer and come in a more classy design. The teaser ad lasts only for about 5 seconds, but does show the entire smartphone in real.
Earlier this month, OnePlus unveiled a teaser showing off the rear dual cameras and those lovely designs. For instance, there are talks of a 5.5 inch touch screen display with 5 finger gesture support, a 2.4 GHz Octa Core CPU and a Qualcomm Adreno 540 graphics unit.
Word on the street is OnePlus 5 will be offered in two configurations-6GB RAM + 64GB storage and 8GB RAM + 128GB storage.
The phone will likely be coming in four colors as colors not being confirmed by the company yet. Recently, the CEO of OnePlus has released an official camera samples of the phone which looks like a complete professional photographs taken by a DSLR phone. The flagship killer has the rear dual camera set (to be located horizontally at the top left side of the device) that's expected to grab maximum eyeballs, what with the 4H UHD resolution video and a 15 megapixel primary camera.
As rumored before the phone will run on new Android 7.1 Nougat. OnePlus is launching the OnePlus 5 smartphone on June 20th globally and on June 22nd in India.
If the previous release pattern is any indication, OnePlus 5 is expected to go on sale this month in select markets and expand to other markets in the following weeks. Around a week ago, the source code of a landing page of OnePlus 5 revealed that the smartphone would be available in 8 GB RAM variant in India.
