The game developer aims to unify all different versions of the game into just one single edition. It remains to be seen just how many they are able to bring to the program, but it isn't going to be anywhere close to the almost 400 Xbox 360 games that are now available.

"It's certainly not a profound philosophical stance we have against this", said Ryan.
"We've wanted to integrate cross-platform for ages, essentially making a version of Minecraft that's consistent no matter what device you're choosing to play on".
Spencer said that he would love for players across every platform to be connected, and while remaining cool-headed, seemed to to take umbrage with Sony exec Jim Ryan's comments on the safety of Minecraft players. "But I got separate info that Sony refused". "We would never put Minecraft in a place where we felt like we weren't keeping our players safe", he explained.
Ryan also went on to detail that it wasn't a done deal across the board. And fret not, any and all games or worlds that you may have created will transfer right along.
