But, in what can be termed as good news for his fans, the ace comedian will be making a comeback to the stage, but this time, with Kapil Sharma's arch rival Krushna Abhishek, Indian Express reported. We worked there for the longest period but there came a time when I felt that I should move on because of creative differences with Kapil and his team.
Ali was quoted by IANS as saying, "I really miss that show".
"My character wasn't going anywhere and it was becoming stagnant and I felt there was no scope for creative improvement", Ali added.
Ali Asgar who used to play Nani in the comedy show finally broke his silence on his quit and said he did so because of creative differences. Sometimes you are at crossroads and you have to take a decision. Ali will soon be seen in a show with Sunil Grover on Sony. "Like Kapil, Krushna will also invite celebrities and converse with them during the course of the show".
While Krushna confirmed the news about the show, he refused to divulge details about the cast and said "Tentatively titled Comedy Company, it will revolve around a family that intends to pursue theater". "Why should I have any grudges against him?"
However, Krushna has benefited from the untoward situation of Kapil and is launching his new comedy show teaming up with competitor's former colleagues, gaining ample help from them. Many a times a lot of preparations are done, but changes happen on the day of the shoot or on the telecast day.
In March, Sharma was involved in an in-flight fight with Grover with some reports suggesting that he even threw shoe at his co-star, famous for Dr Mashoor Gulati character.
