Durant and Curry sink LeBron's Cavs as Warriors reclaim National Basketball Association championship

In the third quarter, "Cleveland" with LeBron James and Kyrie Irving managed to get at a distance of five points.

Kevin Durant Cleveland Cavaliers at Golden State Warriors, Oakland, USA - 12 Jun 2017 Golden State Warriors player Kevin Durant celebrates after winning the NBA Finals against the Cleveland Cavaliers in game five of the NBA Finals.

The team has recently addressed the speculation, saying they haven't made a decision just yet. "And so I don't know as far as me personally right now".

Golden State beat Cleveland in the 2015 Finals only to lose to them previous year, squandering a 3-1 series lead.

The final result of the 2017 NBA Finals, however, doesn't tell the full story of the way James played. Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry, center, holds his daughter Riley as they celebrate with forward Kevin Durant, left, after Game 5 of basketball's NBA Finals against the Cleveland Cavaliers in Oakland, Calif., M. "Pretty much all their guys are in their 20s".

Asked about how it ranks, Warriors legend Rick Barry called KD's Finals MVP performance this year "one of the best ever" during an interview Tuesday with KNBR 1050's The Audible.

Kerr's team set an National Basketball Association record for regular-season wins with 73 last season and returned to the Finals, but lost to Cleveland in seven games.

But James did not want to weigh into the discussion about whether the necessary pieces needed to build a true challenger to the Warriors are out there. "See what we're missing", Green says, recounting the text message he sent Durant. "I'm really happy for him and his mom, all the garbage he had to put up with - and he got the last word".

There is already talk that Cleveland could work out a trade for Indiana Pacers small forward Paul George, a 27-year-old four-time All-Star who offers more offensive prowess and a stronger defensive presence than Cavs forward Kevin Love. And when you look at all that Paul brings to the game, it seems the Spurs are exactly the kind of team that Paul needs at this point in his career.

LeBron will be an unrestricted free agent in 2018 and has not spoken about whether he will stay with the franchise beyond that time.

Having joined the Cavaliers from the Miami Heat in 2014, there is a suggestion that he could be on the move again, with the Los Angeles Lakers one of the rumored destinations. "But tonight was a little different, just based on the things I've had to go through during this time".
