Skull and Bones releases in the fall of 2018 for Xbox One X, PlayStation 4, and PC. Skulls and Bones is an explosive multiplayer game with various game modes. It's also been made with input from Elijah "Frodo Baggins" Wood, who has always been a bit of a gamer and provided voices for Double Fine's Broken Age. However, these rich and idyllic waters are also a battleground where far-reaching colonial empires, powerful trading corporations, and ruthless pirate gangs are fiercely competing for their share of these valuable treasures.

Ubisoft has just revealed a new IP, Skull & Bones.

Ubisoft officially unveiled Skull & Bones during its E3 2017 press briefing, debuting a three-minute cinematic trailer (video above), as well as a five-minute gameplay demo (video below).

Ubisoft showcased five versus five gameplay where each player controlled a pirate ship of their own, and teams battled for loot. The other was that there was a giant kraken lurking beneath the surface of the ocean.

There's still a lot we need to see in Skull & Bones; a single-player campaign would be nice, if nothing else. From sharpshooter to frigate, players will pick their ships the same way they choose different classes in an RPG. Your friends can turn on you, so choose them wisely.
