Mom With Tragic Story Spends $25K on Camel for Son's Prom

Mom spends $25k on cars, camels for son's exotic-themed prom sendoff

Johnny "JJ" Eden Jr. had a camel and three tons of sand brought in to the 3400 block of Clearfield Street for photos. A mother in Philadelphia has spent more than the cost of a auto on her son's prom.

Saudia Shuler nearly sent her son Johnny Eden the middle-eastern country but settled for splurging for his prom on three tons of sand, exotic cars, custom-made gowns for his dates - yes, he had three dates - and also: a camel.

Her son's happiness apparently has no financial limit.

Shuler celebrated her son with a huge prom send-off after suffering a stroke and battling cancer, reports NBC Philadelphia.

Philadelphia restaurateur Saudia Shuler had something cooking up her sleeves when it came to providing her son a prom of a lifetime.

Johnny also took three different dates to the prom in style, renting a Lamborghini, a Range Rover and Rolls Royce. She began saving up money for the event each week until she was finally able to fulfill that promise in a big way, creating a sendoff for her son that few will ever forget.
