Shenmue III Won't Be at E3 2017

Oh, sure, Ys Net releases a new Shenmue III screenshot or snippet of gameplay here and there, but it remains rather unclear what those fat stacks of fan cash are being used for.

And now, the good news: The dev update video showcased the animations and concept arts of an all-new masculine character. I would prefer, as many others probably would too, that they take their time with it rather than rushing it to a deadline. The developer noted that the coming month will be devoted entirely to development.

If you missed it, catch the first report here and the second here. Who's this new face...? You can check it out in the following video.

"We have also been receiving questions from our backers regarding our plans to participate in the upcoming game show".

This now leads to the next part of the story, whether you're still playing detective or not, will YS Net show to any upcoming big events; particularly E3?

The studio are hard at work, explaining that they "will be devoting June to game development and as a result, will unfortunately not be participating in any game shows". Shenmue III then became one of the most successful Kickstarter projects in history with $6,333,295 funded during its campaign duration.
