Gerrard played 45 minutes for Liverpool in a post-season friendly against Sydney on 24 May and extolled the virtues of Klopp as an excellent manager.
Gaining an experience of playing under Klopp made him wonder if he could have achieved greater success at Liverpool with the German at the helm.
"It's how he makes you feel".
"I went out there to play in a friendly and I felt like it was the World Cup final".
"We're blessed to have him and hopefully we can go from strength to strength over the summer".
"It was such a key result against Middlesbrough", he added.
Well, while Liverpool is ambitious they will face a real fight to firstly praise Keita away from RB Leipzig as they look to keep their squad together for a Champions League campaign, while they could easily be outbid by the likes of Chelsea and United for Van Dijk. "Now we have to seize the moment", the ex-midfielder stated.
"We thought it was going to be a six-horse race (for the title) this year and it wasn't, so you just never know how it's going to turn out".
"We're in the qualifying stage but you've got to realize that to get to the latter stages of the competition you are talking about top, top class opposition".
Gerrard doesn't feel it will be too hard to acquire some top names this summer, with a combination of Liverpool and Klopp a mouthwatering prospect.
