Marco Silva calls for positive end to season

I have no idea if he's any good or ready for the Premier League, but it's already-relegated Hull, and it's the last game of the season, and I'd like nothing better than to see something wacky.

The Tigers will do well to keep hold of the defender this summer, with a string of clubs said to be interested in his services, but he will not feature at home to Spurs due to injury.

Silva, 39, who took over at the KCOM Stadium in January, has been linked with a move to Watford to replace the outgoing Walter Mazzarri.

Yet Silva also suggested "I met with the owners this week and they showed they have an interest in keeping me and my staff at the club".

"I need to talk a couple of times more with the chairman and we will see about the future". "Of course when we decide we'll explain more about the situation".

The Tigers were condemned to an immediate return to the Championship last weekend, with a 4-0 defeat at the hands of Crystal Palace leaving them four points adrift of safety heading into the final day. What they give to us is awesome.

"We have one more game to play and this club, Watford in this case, have one more game to play".

"This is the truth and it is impossible to talk about "Club A", "B" or "C", the most important is that I stay here to work with Hull City and not talk about other clubs". Up until now, nothing has happened. It's impossible for me to talk about other clubs because Hull City deserve all my respect.

Mauricio Pochettino's in-form side hit six at Leicester on Thursday to record their 11th win in 12 league games and Silva was full of admiration for the London club's style of play. I want our players to play with good motivation - this is our focus.
