A body found inside the stolen auto Thursday is believed to be that of 6-year-old Kingston Frazier, Jackson police Commander Tyree Jones told WLBT-TV.

District Attorney Michael Guest said the three suspects, Byron McBride, DeAllen Washington and Dwan Wakefield would be in court Monday for capital murder charges.

Three young men have been arrested in the United States, hours after a 6-year-old boy was found shot dead in his mother's stolen auto.

UPDATE: 05/18/2017 10:53am The Jackson Police Department (JPD) says that a multi-jurisdictional investigation is underway to find the person or persons responsible for the death of the child, as yet unidentified, found in the backseat of the vehicle stolen from the parking lot of the Kroger on I-55 in Jackson.

While Archie was inside, two men in a two-door 2014 Honda Civic Coupe (Wakefield's, Washington's, and McBride's exact roles in Kingston's murder have not been revealed), pulled alongside her Camry and the man in the passenger seat jumped into Archie's vehicle and drove away with Kingston inside.

Just before 10 a.m., authorities canceled the Amber Alert.

In the aftermath of the news of the tragic and senseless murder of kidnapped MS 6-year-old Kingston Frazier, many have taken to social media to share their shock and condolences. "His mother has to deal with it". They could have left that child on that backseat, asleep.

"This is the worst day of my career - of my 17-year career", said Jackson police Cmdr. The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation confirmed the vehicle had been found, but authorities did not immediately release if he was dead or alive.

In Mississippi, 17-year-olds accused of capital murder are tried as adults. None of the the three men have been charged, and authorities have not released a motive. The FBI is also investigating, Hall said.

One lawyer said he was not yet officially representing one of them and declined requests for comment. Guest said the other two do not yet have lawyers.

At least three suspects have been arrested in connection to the coldblooded killing, including the two men who allegedly stole the Camry. We've confirmed that Wakefield attends Ridgeland High School where he played quarterback on the football team.

Authorities publicly disclosed the boy's death while surrounded by grieving family members.

After pulling up next to the Camry, the passenger reportedly jumped into the driver's seat and took off - speeding away, along with his accomplice.
