The Rock addressed those rumors that he's planning to run for President

The wrestler-turned-actor appeared on Jimmy Fallon's "The Tonight Show" on Thursday and discussed the possibility of running for president, a subject that he said was raised by the writer interviewing him for GQ Magazine.

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is the biggest movie star in the world right now, so it's obvious he's looking for new challenges.

"It's so flattering and I think it's because a lot of people want to see a different - I'm sorry not different, but better leadership today - and I think more poise, less noise".

And If you need any more proof that The Rock could be a legit contender for the presidency, look no further than this mock commercial that Jimmy Kimmel ran this week.

"I also think that over the years I've become a guy that a lot of people relate to", he said.

Before the conversation changed, Johnson seemed to give a strong indication that he is at least considering it.

As for 2020, The Rock said, "Three-and-a-half years is a long way away, so we'll see".

Earlier this month, Johnson detailed his thought process in an interview with GQ.

While I love the acid-freakout setup of the whole endeavor, the real selling point is the whole "blasted in the face" thing, which they really help you out with by providing super slow-mo replays. "A year ago, it started coming up more and more".
