Harry Kane is aiming to reach 30 Premier League goals for the first time in his career after scoring four in a brilliant destruction at Leicester.

The England forward is now two goals ahead of Everton's Romelu Lukaku on 26 heading into the final weekend of the season.

'I've told you many times we'll keep the players we want to keep, and sell those we want to sell.

"Harry's a special player, he loves Tottenham".

"But I think the noise is coming out of Tottenham that this summer, they realise to keep the players, the Dele Alli's of this world and the side they've got there from leaving, is to bring in better players". 'I was looking to score a couple of goals, I was looking to take the golden boot into the last game, but now I'm in the driving seat. "They are happy here, we have an exciting project".

"I think I said to someone the other day it would be great if I can get to that 100 club by the end of next season", Kane said.

Kane's fifth Premier League hat-trick in just over two years took him to 32 goals in all competitions this season, four more than he managed last term and one more than the 31 he bagged in the 2014-15 season.

"The first three games I didn't score but then I went on a good run", he said.

"We feel so proud of Harry, to score four goals was fantastic", Pochettino said. It's more than I've had in the past so I will make the most of it. Getting away is not so much a physical rest as a mental one. We were talking a lot about last season when we finished so badly.

Tottenham are away to already-relegated Hull and Everton face Arsenal, who need to win to give them any hope of qualifying for the Champions League. We spoke a lot to try to change that view and that feeling and finish in the best way.

"We wanted to improve this season and this type of performance showed we have learned a lot".

Mauricio Pochettino has stressed the importance of Spurs finishing the season well, despite Chelsea claiming the title.

"We've come up against a quality side but the disappointing thing is I didn't see enough desire to defend as a team", he said. You get beat 6-1, there are no positives'.
