Charles Dance, best known for his role as Tywin Lannister on the first four seasons of Game of Thrones, will be joining the cast of Godzilla: King of The Monsters.

Very little is known about the "King Of The Monsters" project, aside from the fact that it fits in with Legendary/Warner Brothers plans to have Godzilla and Kong face off in the 2020 slated Godzilla vs Kong. Also set to make an appearance is Sally Hawkins, who played Dr. Vivienne Graham in Gareth Edwards' Godzilla. Other cast members who were confirmed earlier include Stranger Things darling Millie Bobby Brown, Vega Farmiga, Kyle Chandler, Ken Watanabe, Aisha Hinds, and O'Shea Jackson Jr. Directed by Gareth Edwards and featuring an all-star worldwide cast, this spectacular adventure pits Godzilla against malevolent creatures that, bolstered by humanity's scientific arrogance, threaten our very existence. In addition, The Hollywood Reporter has added that he will be joined by Sally Hawkins, a scientist working for Monarch, the secret organization that has been keeping track of the giant monsters hidden throughout the planet Earth in order to contain them.

Dougherty is also writing King of the Monsters, which has not yet revealed official plot details. Given that the movie will not be releasing until 2019 (followed by monster brawler Godzilla vs. Kong), it may be some time before we have any detailed information about the film. If you didn't see Kong, you missed out!
