Eurovision finals interrupted by mooning streaker draped in Australian flag

Vitalii Sediuk was yanked off stage after mooning the cameras as last year's victor Jamala performed during the song contest in Kiev.

The streaker interrupted the mid-show performance by 2016 Eurovision victor Jamala, and managed to flash his backside to the world before a burly security guard wrestled him off stage.

While the incident was one of the most talked about moments of Eurovsion, police in the Ukraine did not see the amusing side, arresting Sediuk and detaining him.

A serial pest, Sediuk famously attacked Kim Kardashian in Paris a year ago, just days before she was caught up in a hotel robbery. The prankster, Vitalii Sediuk, got arrested and now faces the charges of imprisonment for up to 5 years and pay a fine.

Sedyuk had previously gained worldwide attention with stunts targeting the global entertainment elite, including trying to kiss actor Will Smith at a 2012 film premiere in Moscow and grabbing the microphone from British singer Adele as she accepted an award at the 2013 Grammy Awards.

Despite Isaiah Firebrace coming ninth in this year's Eurovision song content, it seems Australia could be remembered for all the wrong reasons.

Bulgaria's 17-year-old entrant Kristian Kostov was the runner-up with Moldova's three-man-band SunStroke Project in third place.
