Henderson has endured a hard campaign as he's been on the sidelines since February 11th after suffering a foot injury during the win over Tottenham at Anfield.
The midfielder plays a vital role in Klopp's side as the leader and workhorse, but the Liverpool boss is not sure if Henderson will feature before the end of the season.
"Like it is always, you wish a ligament was snapped. Then you know if you fix it or wait for it, it will be six weeks, eight weeks or whatever", he said. This is the kind of issue where you have to wait.
On account of the complexity of Henderson's injury, which he also suffered last season, Klopp admitted that it has been hard to set a reliable return date. That is how the body is sometimes.
Despite Henderson the last playing for Liverpool on February 11, if fit, Klopp says he would consider the midfielder for selection in the final two matches of the 2016-17 campaign.
"We have not made a final judgment for this season", Klopp added.
Klopp said Henderson was advised rest by the club's medical team.
While Klopp remains uncertain about a return for the England global, he said it could still be possible late in the campaign.
"Because it is Jordan and he is a really high fitness level, even if it just swimming, we know we can think about him immediately when he is ready".
Then we could think about the national team.
With two Premier League games left to play, third place Liverpool head into this Sunday's match at West Ham under pressure to win a game that could cement their place in next season's Champions League, with the faltering form of Arsenal and Manchester United helping their cause.
"Signing players is a hard task in the modern game because every team in England has so much money and they don't need to sell their best players anymore".
