Along with the basic phone features, Galaxy S8 has another additional mind-blowing feature that made it infinitely fantastic. Samsung Galaxy S8 is in fact the company's second smartphone to feature an iris scanner.

The foldable feature, however, could appear on two separate devices mysteriously named Galaxy X and Galaxy X1, but at an unspecified time. Samsung confirmed the news through Twitter, and the company has already started taking preorders for the phone through Samsung India website.

Samsung announced earlier this week that global Galaxy S8 and S8+ pre-orders have outpaced the previous-generation models.

Samsung is now working on the rugged version of its flagship smartphone, which carries the model number SM-G892A and has been codenamed Cruise.

Samsung has been trying hard to regain its reputation in China which was damaged even further following the mishap surrounding the Galaxy Note 7 devices and their recall.

When the BBC posted its hands-on trial of Bixby on the day the Galaxy S8 launched, several viewers commented that it seemed a bit slow.

LG has been penetrating the global market with their flagship phones every year, plus in 2017 they unveiled the LG G6, which has impressed numerous smartphone fans by far. Both the smartphones were unveiled on March 29 at the Galaxy Unpacked event in New York City. "We carried out battery tests for more than 200,000 units of the Note 7 following the issue and more than 100,000 units for the Galaxy S8". The Galaxy S8 is also equipped with fingerprint, iris and facial recognition sensors that will be connected to Samsung Pass, a biometric authentication service. It is of course too early to determine numerous specifications, but it has been reported that likely the S9 will also be available as 5.8 and 6.2-inch screen models. The Galaxy S8 and S8+ have 8MP front-facing camera. That said, the Samsung Galaxy S8 Active may shift to a flat screen, albeit it would make it look quite different from the regular S8.
