National Football League to release 2017 schedule on Thursday

The NFL announced Tuesday that the schedules for all 32 teams will be announced at 7 p.m. (CT) Thursday during a two-hour broadcast, 2017 NFL Schedule Release on NFL Network. But there will be no surprises in the matchups, since we've known those for months.

Streaming: NFL Mobile from Verizon or Watch NFL Network on a tablet, PC, Xbox One and Xbox 360, Apple TV, PlayStation 4, Android TV, and Amazon fire TV. The New England Patriots and Kansas City Chiefs will open the season that Thursday, and neither is on the 49ers schedule. Perhaps lost in the Raiders-to-Vegas saga is the Chargers' move to L.A. this season.

The Patriots will be hosting the first game of the regular season. The cynic in us thinks that it's probably up to Jones.

Seattle's road games in 2017 are: Arizona Cardinals, Los Angeles Rams, San Francisco 49ers, Dallas Cowboys, New York Giants, Jacksonville Jaguars, Tennessee Titans and the Green Bay Packers.
