Pepe: "I'll wait for Real Madrid until the last minute"

Antoine Griezmann's advisor confirms Chelsea, Barcelona, Real Madrid, Manchester United and City interest

Griezmann to lead Atletico against Real Madrid in derby

Manchester United target Antoine Griezmann has not ruled out the possibility of joining Real Madrid but admits that he is now happy at Atletico Madrid.

Fernando Torres had an excellent chance to draw level on the hour-mark, however the striker failed to get it past Navas, who made a good save in a one-on-one situation.

Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane knows a hitherto successful season will be quickly forgotten if his side blow their chances at a La Liga and Champions League double in the next two weeks.

The 26-year-old French forward, who leads Atletico with 22 goals in all competitions this year, will be the focus of the team's attack today as it tries to derail Real Madrid's march toward the Spanish league title.

"It was a great performance (from Real), but we just lost concentration for five minutes".

"Madrid always opens its doors to great players".

Pepe replied: "Only God knows where my future lies".

When asked about the possibility of a move across town to the Santiago Bernabeu, Griezmann said: "I can't say yes or no".

"I do not want to leave Atletico (whether for) Paris, China, USA, Russia or elsewhere", he noted.

"It was a really important game for us". That headed effort looked like it would be enough for his side to see off Atletico and collect three precious points, but then Griezmann happened. It won't be easy though, as Atletico have the league's joint-best defensive record, conceding 23 goals from 30 games played which is quite impressive.

"There's a long way to go and we have to win everything we can to be in the top three". He was quoted to be saying by Reuters, "It's clear they were better than us in that game (the last time the two teams played before Saturday) but now it's another story, a different moment".

Barcelona will be waiting to take advantage of any favours Atletico could do for them when they visit Malaga hours after the derby on the back of a 3-0 win over Sevilla.
