Julia Roberts has been named 2017's most lovely woman in the world in People Magazine's annual list.
But if, one second later, you realized that literally nothing had changed in the world, it might be because People chose Julia Roberts.
Former "Friends" star Jennifer Aniston was last year's most lovely woman for People magazine.
Julia Roberts has been named People Magazine's Most Beautiful Woman in the World again.
Meanwhile, only four women of color have been awarded this honor since People started doling it out in 1991: Halle Berry (2003), Jennifer Lopez (2011), Beyoncé (2012), and Lupita Nyong'o (2014). "I'm like, 'Ah, he's back!'" Julia joked. "I was in another movie in this tiny little town that was showing Star Wars in its first run".
The "Pretty Woman" star - who is good pals with George Clooney, a two-time Sexiest Man Alive - jokingly said she'll hold her honor over Clooney on her Christmas card to his family this year.
Other powerful women who made People's list this year include Oprah Winfrey, 63, Emma Watson, 27, Viola Davis, 51, Chrissy Metz, 36, Mandy Moore, 33, Carrie Underwood, 34, and Taraji P. Henson, 46.
People's 28th annual "World's Most Beautiful" double-issue will be on newsstands Friday.
