A video recorded on a home monitoring system by two NY parents shows 2-year-old twins Andrew and Ryan having a late-night party while they are supposed to be asleep.
Jonathan and Susana Balkin said their Nest home monitoring system was recording in the bedroom of 2-year-old identical twins Andrew and Ryan when the boys chose to climb out of their beds for some rowdy playtime March 13.
The footage was posted on Facebook as a timelapse by the dad of the identical 2-year-old boys - named Andrew and Ryan - and has been viewed over 12 million times.
On Monday, the family appeared on "Today" to talk about the viral adventure.
Susana and Jonathan Balkin caught their twin boys sneaking out their cribs..
"We ended up spying on them for a little while on camera just to make sure they weren't getting into trouble", he said.
Wonder what happens after you put kids to bed no longer. They eventually went to sleep later in the night. But, then dad comes back with reinforcements in the form of mum, Susanna who tries to tidy up.
Daly asked if the parents were considering upgrading the twins' beds. "So the cribs are good for now".
