While we know that Uncharted: The Lost Legacy will be following fan favorite character Chloe, as well as Uncharted 4 antagonist Nadine in the lead roles, there was still some general hope that Nathan Drake, the iconic series star, will feature in it as well.
As for why Naughty Dog made a decision to bring Chloe back for another adventure, "She's an interesting character with a darker moral compass compared to Drake".
The article also claims that the DLC will be larger than The Last of Us's Those Left Behind DLC but smaller than Uncharted 4 the game.
The confirmation comes straight from the Sony PlayStation Blog, with Game Director Kurt Margenau revealing that a cameo from Nathan Drake was something the studio had considered, but ultimately just didn't feel right - Drake's story had been told and wrapped up nicely, so having him re-appear here would have felt a little too forced. "Beautiful, big landscapes to traverse and explore, that sense of a surprise around every corner", Creative Director Shaun Escayg said.
The developer revealed only a few small details when the project was first announced a year ago, and now, we get to learn a lot more. Margenau also stated that the game will feature the biggest area ever seen in an Uncharted game, which should provide avid treasure hunters with plenty to play with. One of those stealth options will be a silenced pistol, the first lethal stealth weapon in the Uncharted series.
The idea is that Naughty Dog is trying to evolve the Uncharted experience by putting the pace of its action in the hands of the player. It is slated for release both physically and digitally, but pricing and the exact release date have yet to announced, as per GameSpot.
