The interesting part is, Apple has already officially discontinued iPhone 6 in the country and iPhone SE is the cheapest variant of the phone post which we directly have the iPhone 6s.

The 16GB variant of the iPhone SE had been selling for Rs 29,990.

The new cashback deal on the iPhone SE was initially available on March 17 and will continue to do so, reportedly till March 31. Users should note that the Rs 5,000 cash back offer is not valid on debit cards of American Express.

With the recent cut, now retailers are offering iPhone SE for as low as Rs 24,999, coupled with the Rs 5,000 cash back dropping the effective price to as low as Rs 19,999. There is nothing official about it but the price in all probability will have blessings of the Apple India. The banks whose cards are being accepted, are Axis Bank, Citibank, HDFC Bank, HSBC, ICICI Bank, IndusInd Bank, Kotak, RBL Bank, SBI, Standard Chartered, UBI, and Yes Bank. Lowering the price of 16GB iPhone SE which costs Rs 29900 helps Apple product to compete in the price segment.

The iPhone SE is a powerful phone though with Apple's A9 SoC paired with M9 motion co-processor.

If accurate, the design choice makes sense considering the iPhone 4, 4s, 5, and 5s were the only Apple smartphones to not feature rounded edges, but the report makes it sound like the actual curve of the body will be especially dramatic this time around. It also has a 16GB/64GB internal storage, a 2GB RAM, a 12MP iSight main camera with 1.22µ pixels, a 1.2MP front-snapper, and a 1,624mAh battery. This could also indicate that the company might be trying to bring out a brand new version of the iPhone this year.

Before you can buy the iPhone SE at its special prices, first you have to find a retailer that is selling it at a special prices.
